wpForo – User Mentioning v3.3.3
The wpForo – User Mentioning addon by gVectors enhances your WordPress forum by enabling users to mention each other using the “@” symbol, similar to social media platforms. When a user types “@” followed by a few characters of another member’s username in the post editor, an autocomplete dropdown appears, allowing them to select the intended user easily. This feature streamlines communication and fosters engagement within the community.
Upon being mentioned, users receive email notifications alerting them to the specific topic or reply where they were referenced. Administrators can manage these notifications through the wpForo > Settings > Subscriptions & Mentioning section, where they can customize email content and allow users to mute mention notifications from their profile settings.
